Frequently asked questions from students

Do I need care experience already?

No. Most visits revolve around companionship, groceries or help with technology. Experience is nice to have, but not required.

How much can I earn?

The hourly rate depends on the type of visit. If you indicate at sign-up that you want to provide IT help or guide the life story project, a short test follows. Pass it, and you'll be paid an increased rate.

What if I can't make it one day?

Let us know in good time and we'll find a replacement. That way the client is still helped and you don't need to feel guilty about it.

Can I work at Nabij alongside another part-time job?

Yes, many students combine Nabij with another job or internship. You decide how many hours you're available.
